A superbly written adventure book on freshwater sailing.
Superbly written, The Teeth Of The Northeaster: A Solo Voyage On Lake Superior recounts Bree's sojourn across the largest body of freshwater in the world. Bree interweaves tales of the legends and the history of this vast watery region with his own particular adventures, meeting and talking with veteran sailors, boat builders, shopkeepers, and fishermen. Inspired Urges
This is a scintillating saga of rags to riches. This latest novel encompasses the writers ability to create vivid and fascinating characters in this dynamic trip that keeps us guessing until the explosive, roller coaster ending.

A story set in the north of England and the heart of New York embraces both sides of the Atlantic as twists and turns of the plot begin to unfold with mystery and intrigue.

This book just about displays every emotion, love, betrayal, power, sex, birth and death. Something for every one in this blockbuster.

It Could Still Be Water (Rookie Read-About Science)
Published in Paperback by Children's Book Press (April, 1900)
Author: Allan Fowler
Average review score:

Fun Science
I never liked science, and now I have a first grader who seems to LOVE it! Perhaps it's because of books like this one! Vividly illustrated with photographs of water, ice, snow, mist, and vapor, it has a very simple text that marvels at the magic of water. There is some explanation (freezing to make ice, heating to make vapor), but not much. Great for an introduction to a beginner reader or young scientist.
